For Soccer, like almost any activity, the years before 8 are the formative years when players need to learn the fundamental skills that equip them for life long enjoyment of soccer. For Summer 2007, DISC in association with Arsenal Soccer Schools offers a brand new program. Innovative coaching from qualified coaches combined with plenty of game play to maximize your child’s learning experience in a fun and safe environment.
Quality of Coaching: Arsenal FC’s world reknowned coaching is delivered by Arsenal trained, qualified coaches. The Arsenal Soccer Schools program includes access to Arsenal’s on-line personal development website. The emphasis is on frequent touches of the ball. We expect your child to have more touches of the ball in one clinic than in an entire outdoor league season.
Quality of Facilities: DISC’s FIFA approved rubber infill artificial in and outdoor fields offer playing surfaces infinitely superior to municipal fields. DISC’s flat ½ inch turf is ideally suited for young and old players alike, allowing the ball to move freely and encouraging young players to develop their skills. The rubber infill provides a soft, safe cushioned base.
Weather Guarantee: Thunderstorms, rain and heat are all common to Ontario summers and frequently disrupt soccer activities. DISC’s location benefits from the cooling effect of lake breezes and in the event of heavy rain or electric storms, we simply go indoors and continue to play on the indoor field.

Children born 2000-3 play 16 one hour clinics beginning End April / May, ending in September. 98/9 play 16 * 75 minute clinics. All clinics include minimum 30 minute scrimmage (40 mins for 98/9).
Registration : Register in person at the SoccerLocker at DISC (click here for map) between 9am and 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays from now until 8th April. Pay by cash, cheque, credit card or debit. Or download a registration form and fax, mail or e-mail it to DISC.
