Building on the success of the last five Fall/Winter competitive seasons, the Durham Indoor Soccer Club League will again offer local Rep teams the opportunity to play close to home in a well organised competitive Winter League on DISC's 186 ft x 101 ft FIFA approved FieldTurf surface. At 20,000 sq ft, this is the largest indoor turf soccer field in the Durham Region.

General Information
The Durham Indoor Soccer Club League (DISCL) is a separately constituted club league registered with the Durham Region Soccer Association (DRSA) and operated exclusively by DISC to provide Durham Region's first and only indoor winter rep league.

As field time is limited, early registration is critical to ensure participation. See below for registration information. In 2007-8, DISC hosted 30 teams in 5 Divisions. All divisions were full and many teams were unable to be accommodated. In 2008-9, DISC-L will again operate up to six divisions of 5-8 teams.  Field Time will be allocated to divisions based on a first come first served basis.  Divisions will be confirmed as soon as five teams from any given age group have registered and deposited their playing fee. Rep League Details
All age groups up to U13 will play 7 + Goalie on the Full DISC Field. U14 and above will play 6 + Goalie .

Except where variations are agreed at the pre-season meeting and approved by OSA, standard OSA Indoor Soccer Rules will apply. These are accessible on the OSA website.

All Teams will play a 16 * 50 minute game season inclusive of any playoffs (October 2008 through April 2009). Medals are awarded to the winning team in a division based solely on league standings. Play off games are arranged only to ensure that teams achieve the minimum 16 games advertised. The play-off winners do not receive medals.

Registration Fees
The full fee for the season is $2,000 plus GST of $100 for a total of $2,100. This fee covers field rental and league administration. Teams must register for indoor soccer with their clubs as for any rep league.

Fees are payable as follows:
" Deposit Cheque of $350 due on registration of interest. Since registration is strictly on a first come first served basis, deposit cheques will be cashed on receipt. Teams failing to secure a place in the league will have their deposits refunded in full within 7 days of the date that DISCL determines that the division did not fill quickly enough to secure allocated field time.

Balance of $1,750 due before the start of the season, 2008. Late Fee of $200 per team applies for any team not paid in full by start of season.

Referee fees of $24 per game will be shared by the two teams playing and paid by them to the referee before the start of each game.

NSF fee : $25.

" Note : Updated Player Registration Books and registration of all players for the DISCL 2008/9 season must be completed prior to the start of League play. This registration must be completed with the participating team's own Club. Teams participating from out of region must ensure that they have all required paperwork to play "out of region."
