Ladies' Winter League Registration Information 

Registration Open to Teams or Individuals

DISC will begin its seventh season of Indoor 7/8-a-side Ladies' Soccer League beginning Sat 27th September 2008.  Div A Teams will play 6 outfield players + GK and Div B, C & D (if nec) 7 outfield players +GK. Teams will play a minimum 12 * 50 minute games with a target of 14 games. Games will be played once per week between 4pm and 10pm on Saturdays and 4pm and 11pm on Sundays (last game ends at 11pm).  No games will be scheduled on Thanksgiving or Easter Sundays. The schedule fairly allocates early/late and Sat/Sun games among all teams in all divisions.  This year we are targetting four divisions of 8 teams to ensure evenly matched games. Placement in divisions will be determined by DISC based on previous performance and outdoor status. Teams may be invited to play in exhibition games to assess their ability. Teams are required to provide their own numbered uniforms (where teams do not have uniforms,  DISC will supply a team jersey for a $10 fee -  $20 deposit, $10 of which is refundable on return of the jersey).

Team Registration:  Teams registered in the Fall 2007, Winter 2008 or Summer 2008 season will have priority registration until 31st July 2008. Teams may secure a spot in the league by completing a team registration form and returning it to DISC with a $300 deposit. New teams will be processed on a first come first served basis from August 1st. Only teams who have submitted deposits by these deadlines will be allocated spots in the league. The full team fee for Fall 2008 is $2250. A discounted team fee of $2,100 will be applied to full teams of 15 (or fewer) players completing their registration before 31st August 2008To qualify for this discounted fee, team organisers must provide a team registration form with their deposit and all individual registrations with payments for each player at one time.  Teams who have not completed their registration by 31st August will be charged the non-discounted rate of $2,250. For teams wishing to carry more than 15 players, additional players will pay $25 if registering at the same time as the team or $40 if registering separately. Individuals registering on a team directly with DISC rather than through their team organiser are required to pay the full individual registration fee of $150. DISC reserves the right to apply the full individual fee of $150 per player to any team not completing their registration by this deadline.
 
Individual Registration: The cost per player will be $150.  An early bird discount price of $140 is applicable for any registrations received before 31st July.  Individual registrations will be accepted and players will be allocated to teams by DISC where spots are available. The fee covers all costs (Field Rental, Registration, Match Balls, Administration, Referees & GST) except uniforms. Numbered uniforms are to be supplied by players and are mandatory. If a team does not have a uniform, DISC will provide players numbered players shirts for a small fee. Players will deposit $20 on receiving the shirt and receive a $10 refund when the shirt is returned. DISC will provide pinnies in the early weeks of the season to differentiate teams.  Teams without uniforms after the fourth week of the season may not be permitted to play. A Late Fee of $20 will be charged to any player whose registration is received after 15 September 2008. Schedules and rosters will be posted on the website and e-mailed to players who provide their e-mail address on or before 20th Sep 2008. Players without access to the website should provide a self addressed, stamped envelope with their registration to receive a hard copy.
 
Priority Sign Up: Teams and players participating in the Fall/Winter/Summer 07/08 season of DISC will have a priority sign up for the Fall 08 session until July 31st 2008.  
 
Registration: To register a team, please complete a team registration form and return with a $300 deposit.  The full balance of the team registration fee with completed registration forms is due by August 31st. Failure to meet this deadline will result in forfeit of the deposit and loss of a place in the league. Altneratively they may be left in the black mailbox outside the glass front doors at DISC.
 
Registration of new players/teams is strictly on first come first served basis only

Refund Policy
Cancellations made before Sep 10th 2008 are subject to a $25 administration fee. There are no refunds after this date. Individual players cancellating on medical grounds supported by a Doctor's note will be given a pro-rated refund based on the number of games played less $25 admin fee. Players receiving the team discount are not elligible for a refund. However if a player withdraws from a team, the team may add a player to the roster for a single $40 regn fee and the new player can compensate the withdrawing player appropriately.
